Hasan Vasič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Job Vidrih in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Vuzenica NK's goal looked a bit too open when Zoran Mrhar came free, but Almin Širca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Job Vidrih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Vasič having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vuzenica NK's zone, Zoran Mrhar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almin Širca came out of the goal and Zoran Mrhar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darinko Kranjčević kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Job Vidrih in the 22nd minute of play forced Osilnica's goalkeeper Hasan Vasič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Bogo Klanšek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hasan Vasič showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Anej Ozimek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Darinko Kranjčević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th match minute, Osilnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Ovčak to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Vasič made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ćazim Jarh in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Job Vidrih to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Servacij Ristič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osilnica and the Vuzenica NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Servacij Ristič kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ćazim Jarh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Vasič having to interfere. Ćazim Jarh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Vasič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Vidrih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Job Vidrih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Osilnica's Hasan Vasič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Erih Čonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes in the game, Erih Čonda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Almin Širca having to interfere. Hasan Vasič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ćazim Jarh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoran Mrhar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Almin Širca made a huge save. 87 minutes into the game, Osilnica's Zoran Mrhar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almin Širca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hasan Vasič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ćazim Jarh, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Almin Širca made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Zoran Mrhar sent off a good shot on target.
