The crowd rose to their feet as Raphael De Lucca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateo Potočin. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael De Lucca in the 23rd minute of play forced Kamnik's goalkeeper Mateo Potočin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Edvilijo Marinčič notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of NK MONT's Miguel França. Miguel França was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute Mirando Pokovec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Potočin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamnik's Mateo Potočin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael De Lucca in the 44th minute of play. Hristofor Súrbev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Potočin having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvilijo Marinčič was the one to do the kick off. Lun Krope's late challenge caught a NK MONT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lun Krope helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kamnik's Lun Krope got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Edvilijo Marinčič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel França having to interfere. Raphael De Lucca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stevie Ridgeway kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kamnik's Mateo Potočin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Ercegović in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kamnik's George Ovsec got a free kick in the 96th minute. NK MONT's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
