Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Minas Markomichalis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Rašid Uršič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sreta Gorše made an important save on a dangerous shot by Minas Markomichalis in the 5th minute. Sreta Gorše came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Koper's Minas Markomichalis. But to his dismay, Minas Markomichalis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 9th minute Dorjan Budal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cveto Novinec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazar Topolovec in the 13th minute of play. Bayer Leverkusen's Naim Stanišič got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bayer Leverkusen's Dorjan Budal got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute David Mantu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sreta Gorše saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Bayer Leverkusen got a freekick which was hit by Zoran Levstek. If Rašid Uršič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bayer Leverkusen defense, Manos Labrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sreta Gorše. The Bayer Leverkusen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sreta Gorše should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Naim Stanišič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naim Stanišič in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cveto Novinec saved FC Koper from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Bayer Leverkusen were awarded a corner. Naim Stanišič went to the cornerflag to take it. Bayer Leverkusen's Naim Stanišič was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cveto Novinec in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 39th minute, Minas Markomichalis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Koper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, Bayer Leverkusen's Zoran Levstek got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sreta Gorše came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Koper's Manos Labrou. But to his dismay, Manos Labrou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Sreta Gorše was a little too slow when Minas Markomichalis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Manos Labrou scored 7-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sreta Gorše, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Naim Stanišič hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Bayer Leverkusen's goal looked a bit too open when Minas Markomichalis came free, but Sreta Gorše reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manos Labrou succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. When Bayer Leverkusen's Naim Stanišič in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Koper's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Dorjan Budal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dorjan Budal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cveto Novinec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoran Levstek hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rašid Uršič got free with Cveto Novinec in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Wasyl Okropny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Sreta Gorše was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Koper from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Dorjan Budal came free, but Cveto Novinec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayer Leverkusen were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after FC Koper's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naim Stanišič took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bayer Leverkusen's corner Naim Stanišič fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cveto Novinec quite easily take care of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Bayer Leverkusen's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Okropny came free, but Sreta Gorše reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Manos Labrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Koper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. There was no doubt that FC Koper were the better team. FC Koper's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
