Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Duško Turnšek made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Duško Turnšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Papadopulos was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Duško Turnšek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dimitris Papadopulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Hodoš's goal looked a bit too open when Duško Turnšek came free, but Dimitris Papadopulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duško Turnšek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Dimitris Papadopulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Duško Turnšek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Dimitris Papadopulos made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Duško Turnšek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimitris Papadopulos. Duško Turnšek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dimitris Papadopulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duško Turnšek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Papadopulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duško Turnšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Duško Turnšek took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitris Papadopulos. Dimitris Papadopulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 44 minutes into the game, Jernej Petrovič was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hodoš the free kick. In the 44th minute, Jernej Petrovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Duško Turnšek in the 54th minute of play forced Hodoš's goalkeeper Dimitris Papadopulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hodoš's Dimitris Papadopulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brite McCready in the 56th minute of play. Dimitris Papadopulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitris Papadopulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Hodoš booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rastislav Tomič didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Brite McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Papadopulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatko Goričan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Antoni Zdrojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoni Zdrojewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Papadopulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Istok Šabotić made a precise shot to the right of Dimitris Papadopulos. Hodoš's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Istok Šabotić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Papadopulos having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Istok Šabotić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hodoš's Dimitris Papadopulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Istok Šabotić sped through Hodoš's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dimitris Papadopulos. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. HIT Gorica had played much better football throughout.
