An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Benitez in the 30th minute of play forced Borgafjäll's goalkeeper Sven Sundling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uno Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Uno Holm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Hamnberg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 44 played minutes Borgafjäll got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Stenman. After 46 played minutes, LIVERPOOL FC's Matthias Broberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Sundling came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LIVERPOOL FC reached it. In the 49th minute, Petter Hamnberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borgafjäll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

In the 54th minute, Matthias Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Petter Hamnberg came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Borgafjäll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petter Hamnberg couldn't finish the play. Ronnie Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Petter Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Benitez in the 69th minute of play forced Borgafjäll's goalkeeper Sven Sundling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Borgafjäll getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jimmy Algren hit a great ball. Borgafjäll's Sven Sundling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Asserlindh in the 78th minute of play. Sven Sundling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Benitez in the 87th minute of play. Uno Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Hamnberg in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Matthias Broberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Sundling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Uno Holm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Stenman went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Borgafjäll eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
