Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Esbjörn Lindkvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Güntekin Zişan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jan-Åke Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BK Häcken's Lennart Kämpe got a free kick in the 8th minute. Karl-Erik Alebäck's late challenge caught a BK Häcken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Erik Alebäck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BK Häcken booed when Tived was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 18th minute of the match Karl-Erik Alebäck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl-Erik Alebäck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tived's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Esbjörn Lindkvist scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Åke Norberg, making the score, 1-0. Güntekin Zişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Bergstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Esbjörn Lindkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Norberg made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrik Aronsson during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Güntekin Zişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Bergstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Lennart Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes of play, BK Häcken's Esbjörn Lindkvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Åke Norberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 53rd match minute, BK Häcken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tived's Marko Bergstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Güntekin Zişan. That made the score 2-1 after 54 minutes of play. In the 58th minute of the match, Marko Bergstedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Güntekin Zişan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when Marko Bergstedt in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With his leg Güntekin Zişan managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Tived's Ture Bollström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute Esbjörn Lindkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Lennart Kämpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Häcken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tived the free kick. After 73 played minutes BK Häcken got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Kämpe. Stefan Sander kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Tived's Sven-Olof Sävström got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, BK Häcken's Lennart Kämpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Åke Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reine Axelsson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Marko Bergstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güntekin Zişan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Marko Bergstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tived's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Bergstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güntekin Zişan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tived's Jan-Åke Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Lindkvist in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Häcken fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tived had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
