In the 4th minute Albert Linberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Helmer Malz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Gottfrid Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 24 minutes on the clock, Ingvar Nordin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laisvall fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Daniel Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thor Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Nyland FF's Magne Olsson threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santo Diagur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Laisvall's goalkeeper Magne Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helmer Malz. Laisvall's Magne Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Diagur in the 44th minute of play. Thor Andreasson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Laisvall's Daniel Wassenius. But to his dismay, Daniel Wassenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Daniel Wassenius made the kick off in the second half. Gottfrid Arvidsson in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thor Andreasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Magne Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmer Malz in the 56th minute of the match. Nyland FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Helmer Malz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Magne Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyland FF. Erik Vallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Magne Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Helmer Malz made a precise shot to the right of Magne Olsson. Laisvall's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 95 minutes, Gottfrid Arvidsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laisvall and the Nyland FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Laisvall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense.
