A collision led to Hemse BK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Harry Mattsson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Rune Lundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Andreasson was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Lundberg in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Andreasson saved Hemse BK from getting behind. Jim Dahlqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Boman. Hälleforsnäs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 12 minutes, Carlos Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hälleforsnäs and the Hemse BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Björn Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tommy Boman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Mattsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Hälleforsnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. When Hälleforsnäs's Bengt-Rune Lundberg in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hälleforsnäs's Tommy Boman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Deckbergh in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Hälleforsnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Boklund to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Hälleforsnäs's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Dahlqvist came free, but Tommy Boman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hälleforsnäs's Tommy Boman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Dahlqvist in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Kvick in the 47th minute of play forced Hemse BK's goalkeeper Björn Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Hälleforsnäs's Malte Ekerot was substituted for Niklas Frisk. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Rune Lundberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manfred Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Boman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Dahlqvist in the 56th minute of play. When Alex Björk came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Hemse BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Björk couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Harry Mattsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hemse BK and the Hälleforsnäs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Hemse BK got a freekick which was hit by Harry Mattsson. 62 minutes into the match, Bengt-Rune Lundberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Andreasson. Hemse BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Rune Lundberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Wassenius in the 66th minute of play forced Hemse BK's goalkeeper Björn Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Hemse BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Lundberg came free, but Björn Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tommy Boman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hälleforsnäs's Robin Matsson was substituted for Anton Hammarström. Manfred Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Boman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfred Deckbergh went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Bengt-Rune Lundberg made a precise shot to the right of Björn Andreasson. Hemse BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Hälleforsnäs's zone, Jim Dahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Boman came out of the goal and Jim Dahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hälleforsnäs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hemse BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
