In the 19th minute Wictor Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Kjellqvist scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Åberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rex Peacocks short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Andréas Brenner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Skivarp IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Isak Kjellqvist hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Wictor Säv cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Daniel Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andréas Brenner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Buonanno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Skivarp IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Skivarp IF's zone, Rex Peacock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Brenner came out of the goal and Rex Peacock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Afrikanerna manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Skivarp IF to win.
