Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kenneth Sjöberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Arman Sigman. Sigvard Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Kärnan IF's Gabriel Lind nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greger Ekenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Billy Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Billy Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Hellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Johnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, Kärnan IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Billy Hellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Mårten Björkdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mårten Björkdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Mårten Björkdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Kärnan IF got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Wallmark. When Gabriel Lind fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kärnan IF's protests and gave Gabriel Lind a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute of the match Sten Jakobsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Johnsson skillfully saved the ball. Lars Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Hellkvist in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Kärnan IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Billy Hellkvist made the kick off in the second half. Kärnan IF's Lars Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Hellkvist in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kärnan IF's Jack Åkesson got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Björkdahl in the 65th minute of play forced Kärnan IF's goalkeeper Lars Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Billy Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Hellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Forsell in the 73rd minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Greger Ekenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lars Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Hellkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Johnsson having to make a save. Kärnan IF's Lars Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Hellkvist in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kärnan IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
