If Waldemar Charlos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bror Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Beverley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Siggman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Sillén in the 9th minute of the match. Valter Bäckström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mölltorp fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Börje Siggman went to the wrong direction when Peter Hammarbäck was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Börje Siggman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Sillén in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Kjell Gallberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mölltorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kenneth Beverley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Börje Siggman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Valbo's Börje Siggman threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waldemar Charlos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Valbo's Bror Kolberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Börje Siggman. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Eskil Beneth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Patric Kullander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Gallberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Börje Siggman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Charlos's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Börje Siggman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Kolberg in the 58th minute of play. Kjell Gallberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Beverley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leif Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Gallberg took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patric Kullander. Patric Kullander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Stefan Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mölltorp's Börje Siggman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Charlos in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Kjell Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölltorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Gallberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Kullander having to interfere. Börje Siggman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Sillén in the 86th minute of play. When Eskil Beneth came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mölltorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Beneth couldn't finish the play. The Mölltorp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mölltorp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
