The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Remigio Solustiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Järvsö's Joakim Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Järvsö's Matthias Rudqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Stål made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Remigio Solustiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joakim Eckegren, 1-1. In the 16th minute Håkan Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Stål saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Mikael Wästerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Stål showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Boström in the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Järvsö got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Lundström. Remigio Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Kilström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joakim Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Solustiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Joakim Eckegren made a huge save. A collision led to Valencia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mikael Wästerberg hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Valencia's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Lundgren came free, but Leif Stål reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leif Stål showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Lundgren in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Solustiano to make the kick off. Joakim Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Broberg in the 66th minute of the match. Järvsö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia the free kick. A collision led to Järvsö getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Håkan Lundström hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Solustiano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Eckegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69thth minute of the game Remigio Solustiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Järvsö's Joakim Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th match minute, Järvsö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Uno Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Eckegren having to interfere.
