Diogo Quintal came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Eriksbo IF's Vilhelm Björk. But to his dismay, Vilhelm Björk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Karlsborg's Diogo Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Österberg in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Eriksbo IF booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Ahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Sebastian Backlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henric Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Diogo Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kim Vennerlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Källberg helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Axelsson in the 72nd minute of play. Valdemar Askestät kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match.
