Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes, Inge Fredriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Optimus Prime and the Blåbär players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Optimus Prime was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Optimus Prime's Kenneth Brun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Högström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute Gottfrid Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Högström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Högström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kenneth Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Allan Högström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Börje Bergren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blåbär's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Bergren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Haström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Skoglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Haström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Kenneth Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Högström having to interfere. Allan Högström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfrid Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kenneth Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Optimus Prime's Anton Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Skoglund in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Optimus Prime. Jens-Erik Pilgren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Allan Högström. 0-1. Allan Högström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Brun in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Optimus Prime were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Blåbär's Allan Högström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Skålberg in the 52nd minute of play. Lennart Linberg's late challenge caught a Blåbär's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Linberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Blåbär booed when Optimus Prime was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Linberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pär Lidberg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Börje Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Anton Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Bergren hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inge Fredriksson got free with Allan Högström in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 96 minutes, Gottfrid Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Optimus Prime's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottfrid Skålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Optimus Prime could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blåbär throughout the match.
