Filiph Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiph Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filiph Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play Västerhaninge's Filiph Abrahamsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 23rd minute, Filiph Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Jörn Bergendahl sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Västerhaninge's Leo Hultstrand didn't even have to move. Tor Pihlwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonz Berecz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tor Pihlwall in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Hultstrand saved Västerhaninge from getting behind. If John Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Holm hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tor Pihlwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Hultstrand made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when John Lilja sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Västerhaninge's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Pihlwall came free, but Leo Hultstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Beda Venerabilia's John Lilja got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Lilja in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Hultstrand saved Västerhaninge from getting behind. Västerhaninge's Mats Holm got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Mats Holm off the ground. Tor Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Leo Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Lilja in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Olov Viberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Lilja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Hultstrand having to make a save. Leo Hultstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Pihlwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Alfonz Berecz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västerhaninge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beda Venerabilia the free kick. After 90 played minutes Västerhaninge got a freekick which was hit by Alfonz Berecz. Tor Pihlwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Beda Venerabilia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
