After a rather tough play, Gräsmark's Valter Engman got a free kick in the 6th minute. Adrian Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. The referee ignored Gräsmark's protests and gave Bernt Grönberg a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Åke Tomasson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Allan Fransson threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Åke Tomasson this time. Sven-Olof Smedfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tim Hylander's late challenge caught a Brastad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Hylander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Gräsmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Hylander to maneuver through the defense. Brastad's Torsten Kolberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Olof Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Fransson having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Torsten Kolberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Smedfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Fransson was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Smedfeldt in the 31st minute of play forced Gräsmark's goalkeeper Allan Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Engman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Allan Fransson was a little too slow when Sven-Olof Smedfeldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Sven-Olof Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Fransson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Allan Fransson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Smedfeldt's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 2-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Sven-Olof Smedfeldt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Torsten Kolberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brastad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Torsten Kolberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernt Grönberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th minute, Bernt Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Smedfeldt in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Smedfeldt in the 82nd minute of play forced Gräsmark's goalkeeper Allan Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Torsten Kolberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Olof Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Fransson having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Torsten Kolberg made a precise shot to the right of Allan Fransson. Gräsmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Sven-Olof Smedfeldt scored 6-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Fransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Brastad were the better team. Brastad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
