Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ted Mattsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Arman Hagström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjövik IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Hagström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sjövik IFK booed when Mjällom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Grönlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Arman Hagström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute of the match Sjövik IFK got a corner. Mjällom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petter Rosin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sjövik IFK's corner Petter Rosin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henning Hegg quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Andreasson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Hegg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Skog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ernst Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arne Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Arman Hagström came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sjövik IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arman Hagström couldn't finish the play. Ove Dahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Hegg having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Mjällom's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Hagström came free, but Henning Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mjällom's Henning Hegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Hagström in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Mjällom getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Patrick Björklund hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasper Andreasson to make the kick off. Ted Mattsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Skog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Mattsson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arman Hagström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasper Andreasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henning Hegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Andreasson ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Sjövik IFK's Alexander Mårtensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Hegg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mjällom defense, Arman Hagström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Hegg. The Mjällom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Hegg should have stopped the shot. When Ove Dahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sjövik IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Dahlgren couldn't finish the play. Arman Hagström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Hegg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Andreasson in the 73rd minute of play forced Mjällom's goalkeeper Henning Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mjällom were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Sjövik IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Grönlund took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mjällom's corner Jan-Åke Björling fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Skog quite easily take care of the ball. Kasper Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Sjövik IFK's Kasper Andreasson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 95 minutes into the match, Ted Mattsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Skog. Sjövik IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Mattsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Mjällom supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sjövik IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Sjövik IFK.
