In the 4th match minute, Svanskog RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Boris Kullgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svanskog RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Kullgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Odman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boris Kullgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoffer Odman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Kullgren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th match minute, Svanskog RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Heggert to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Jan-Olof Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Boris Kullgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd match minute, Svanskog RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Bror Engman's late challenge caught a Svanskog RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Engman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Bror Engman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Boris Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Odman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Boris Kullgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joakim Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Odman having to interfere.

When Boris Kullgren came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Svanskog RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Kullgren couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Boris Kullgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Odman was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Christoffer Odman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Kullgren went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Christoffer Odman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Kullgren in the 62nd minute of play. Lennart Botvidsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sture Brander made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Säter IK's zone, Boris Kullgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Odman came out of the goal and Boris Kullgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Kullgren in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Odman saved Säter IK from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Säter IK's Lennart Botvidsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sture Brander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Svanskog RK's Boris Kullgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Odman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Boris Kullgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Odman having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Kullgren in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Odman saved Säter IK from getting behind. Svanskog RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Holmstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Odman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svanskog RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
