Adrian Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Odman having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Harman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christoffer Odman. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Adrian Harman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Säter IK's Christoffer Odman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Harman in the 13th minute of play. Adrian Harman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Christoffer Odman made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Säter IK's Bror Engman got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Skälvik FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Björnberg to maneuver through the defense. Lars Hultman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Skälvik FK's Karl-Erik Fransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffer Odman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Säter IK's Christoffer Odman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Säter IK from getting a goal against them. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Säter IK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bror Engman hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Hultman to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Harman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoffer Odman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Lars Hultman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Skälvik FK booed when Säter IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Engman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lars Hultman came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Skälvik FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Hultman couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Lars Hultman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skälvik FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Hultman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Hultman in the 70th minute of play forced Säter IK's goalkeeper Christoffer Odman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffer Odman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hultman in the 73rd minute of play.
