In the 5th minute, Sverker Bergman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Norberg. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Bergman got free with Martin Norberg in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes, Lars Stenquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sörsjön FC and the FC Emetzo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lars Stenquist hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Jens-Åke Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Bergstedt in the 15th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Anders Bergstedt took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Martin Norberg to make any attempt to save it. FC Emetzo's Martin Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Biörkman in the 21st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of FC Emetzo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sörsjön FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Bergstedt in the 27th minute of play forced FC Emetzo's goalkeeper Martin Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Dick Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Levander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Bergstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverker Bergman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Martin Norberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Martin Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sverker Bergman in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dick Esbjörnsson made the kick off in the second half. Birger Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Esbjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, FC Emetzo's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Bergstedt came free, but Martin Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Anders Bergstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Norberg. FC Emetzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Bergstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. With 63 minutes on the clock, Eric Utfal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, FC Emetzo's Eric Utfal got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sverker Bergman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Norberg having to make a save. FC Emetzo's Martin Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Bergstedt in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Rune Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Sven-Olof Biörkman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Norberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Richard Wennerström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sörsjön FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 72 played minutes Sörsjön FC got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Bergman. Martin Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Bergstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Martin Norberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Biörkman went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Sven-Olof Biörkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sörsjön FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Biörkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Anders Bergstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Anders Bergstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Emetzo's Martin Norberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Bergman in the 89th minute of play forced FC Emetzo's goalkeeper Martin Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, FC Emetzo's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Bergstedt came free, but Martin Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Levander came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Emetzo's Dick Esbjörnsson. But to his dismay, Dick Esbjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. 97 minutes into the match, Sörsjön FC's goalkeeper Birger Levander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Esbjörnsson. When the referee ended the match the Sörsjön FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
