Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zebastian Apelquist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Pilberg during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of F.C Frisko booed when Red Bull Malmö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Marko Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C Frisko's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Askstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Askstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Brask went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Marko Bergkvist sped through Red Bull Malmö's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Askstedt. Niculae Dascalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C Frisko's Max Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Wahlnäs in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Red Bull Malmö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Groth to maneuver through the defense. Thor Groth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Max Gummeson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Brask in the 24th minute of play forced Red Bull Malmö's goalkeeper Hugo Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Apelquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hugo Askstedt came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Frisko's Marko Bergkvist. But to his dismay, Marko Bergkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Niculae Dascalu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Gummeson having to make a save. In the 41st minute of the match, Fredrik Wahlnäs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Max Gummeson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Max Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Max Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Wahlnäs to make the kick off. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Roger Soned advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 56th minute. Max Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hugo Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Apelquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Soned blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Gummeson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Wahlnäs in the 68th minute of play forced F.C Frisko's goalkeeper Max Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Eskilsson charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Eskilsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Red Bull Malmö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Karl-Michael Gråberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Frisko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Gråberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Red Bull Malmö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. Red Bull Malmö's Hugo Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Apelquist in the 78th minute of play. Max Gummeson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Wahlnäs's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes Red Bull Malmö got a freekick which was hit by Henry Eskilsson. 84 minutes into the match, Roger Soned notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of F.C Frisko's Max Gummeson. Max Gummeson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the F.C Frisko defense, Fredrik Wahlnäs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Gummeson. The F.C Frisko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Gummeson should have stopped the shot.
