Tage Back made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Odin in the 5th minute of play. Herman Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Back having to interfere. Emil Dalberg made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Eddie Ahlbom sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Ahlbom came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Dalberg could save by the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Rosersberg IK's goalkeeper Emil Dalberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Hedvall. After a rather tough play, Rosersberg IK's Valentin Kilström got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, Rosersberg IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Kilström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Ahlbom got free with Emil Dalberg in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Jens-Ola Lindholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosersberg IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Per-Olof Häll kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Herman Kruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hércules Club de Fútbol's zone, Per Odin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tage Back came out of the goal and Per Odin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Hércules Club de Fútbol players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rosersberg IK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ronaldinho Loyola made the kick off in the second half. Herman Kruse might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tage Back. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herman Kruse ran back to his position shaking his head. Per Odin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tage Back made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Kjell-Arne Bålström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tage Back came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosersberg IK's Per Odin. But to his dismay, Per Odin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 80th match minute, Rosersberg IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Odin to maneuver through the defense. Emil Dalberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Hedvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Hércules Club de Fútbol's Tage Back got control of the ball when Kent Nord tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tage Back stood somewhat misplaced when Per Odin came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Rosersberg IK made a substitution. Jörn Allbom replaced Per Odin. Kent Nord who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Tage Back when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tage Back showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Olsmann in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Rosersberg IK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hércules Club de Fútbol throughout the match.
