Olov Lövgren charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Lövgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, östersund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Lövgren to maneuver through the defense. Solvesborgs FC's Calle Kjellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Solvesborgs FC from getting a goal against them. Olof Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Calle Kjellbom made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Olof Ekström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The östersund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anatoliy Kotyuk was the one to do the kick off. In the 100th minute, Leonel Huezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solvesborgs FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
