The supporters of Sjötorp booed when Dals Rostock RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 汪正邦 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Örjan Eklund. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Petersson in the 29th minute of play forced Sjötorp's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st play minute Stig-Arne Lundhberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Örjan Eklund. 3-0. Sjötorp's Jens-Åke Hultman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Melberg in the 35th minute of play. If 汪正邦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 汪正邦 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Örjan Eklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 汪正邦's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Örjan Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 汪正邦, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Folke Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Hultman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
