Lennart Ståhlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Västberg in the 6th minute of the match. With 11 minutes on the clock, Ivar Vidman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th minute, one of Hönö:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hönö. August Carlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lennart Ståhlman made a huge save. In the 70th minute David Västberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of IFK Orust booed when Hönö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Birger Bohlin fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hönö's protests and gave Birger Bohlin a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes Hönö got a freekick which was hit by Birger Bohlin. The Hönö supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching IFK Orust's performance. The match ended with a win for IFK Orust.
