Hugo Britz took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 庄榕桑. 庄榕桑 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Briljant 9 defense, Margarit Muratovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Fredriksson. The Briljant 9 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Fredriksson should have stopped the shot. 庄榕桑 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joakim Säv went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 庄榕桑 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Säv, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrzej Debowski got free with Christian Fredriksson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Margarit Muratovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Joakim Säv made the kick off in the second half. Christian Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Margarit Muratovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Briljant 9's Christian Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Frykberg in the 56th minute of play. Christian Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Frykberg in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Margarit Muratovski notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Briljant 9's Christian Fredriksson. Christian Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Väderstad IK's 庄榕桑 got control of the ball when Joakim Säv tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Briljant 9 got a corner. Väderstad IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Myr ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Briljant 9's corner Per Myr fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 庄榕桑 quite easily take care of the ball. Claes Blomquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. 庄榕桑 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Margarit Muratovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Fredriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Margarit Muratovski's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Jörgen Nyberg with Hugo Britz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Briljant 9's Joakim Säv in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Väderstad IK's goalie prevented a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
