If Dennis Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CRUZEIRO FC's Karl-Ove Odén got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szilveszter Vásárhelyi in the 11th minute of play forced Ralebs Bilar FC's goalkeeper August Gråberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Szilveszter Vásárhelyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Gråberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Emil Holm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CRUZEIRO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ralebs Bilar FC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Emil Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Dennis Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. August Gråberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szilveszter Vásárhelyi in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, CRUZEIRO FC's Szilveszter Vásárhelyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Gråberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Szilveszter Vásárhelyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. August Gråberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 32 minutes, Alvar Wallmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CRUZEIRO FC and the Ralebs Bilar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvar Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Dennis Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Askelöf during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Alfred Grep, was totally fooled by Ralebs Bilar FC's Erik Busk, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Josefsson got free with Alfred Grep in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Hellgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Grep having to make a save. Tony Söderkvist, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Josefsson to make the kick off. After 59 played minutes CRUZEIRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Wallmark. Zebastian Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Dan Askelöf was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. The referee gave Ralebs Bilar FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erik Busk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CRUZEIRO FC's Alfred Grep. 2-2. Dennis Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Söderkvist struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alfred Grep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ralebs Bilar FC. Dennis Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. August Gråberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Bengtsson in the 81st minute. August Gråberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilveszter Vásárhelyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, CRUZEIRO FC's Szilveszter Vásárhelyi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. If Håkan Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Söderkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Grep having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Ralebs Bilar FC's Dennis Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Grep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ralebs Bilar FC booed when CRUZEIRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szilveszter Vásárhelyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. CRUZEIRO FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ralebs Bilar FC had controlled the match.
