The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Aesthetics getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dick Askberg hit a great ball. Edvard Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Vennerdal in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Jörn Vennerdal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Säfström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jens-Ove Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edvard Säfström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Vennerdal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvard Säfström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aesthetics's zone, Mikael Stenkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Wnukowski came out of the goal and Mikael Stenkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Stenkvist made a kick off. Bengt-Arne Boberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Göran Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Vennerdal in the 66th minute of the match. Skanör's Edvard Säfström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Vennerdal in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Jörn Vennerdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skanör's Edvard Säfström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Skanör from getting a goal against them. When Albert Rolandsson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skanör's protests and gave Albert Rolandsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Skanör getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Albert Rolandsson hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Jörn Vennerdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aesthetics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörn Vennerdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ture Dahlgren made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Frans Kellberg. Mikael Stenkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Wnukowski having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Skanör's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Wennerquist came free, but Edvard Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Stenkvist in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wit Wnukowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
