Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bengt-Åke Sundling made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Böcklund in the 8th minute of play forced Herrljunga RK's goalkeeper Edward Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jack Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Herrljunga RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Benet to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Herrljunga RK's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Utter came free, but Edward Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Boris Utter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Lundgren. Herrljunga RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Utter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, GIF Sundsvall's Roger Wennerquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gösta Åkerberg stood somewhat misplaced when Bengt-Åke Sundling came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 23 minute. If Boris Utter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Östen Böcklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GIF Sundsvall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Bror Hedström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Böcklund in the 41st minute of play. 2-4 became the score in the 47th minute when Bror Hedström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Östen Böcklund made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Bror Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrljunga RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Hedström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gösta Åkerberg came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Herrljunga RK's Bengt-Åke Sundling. But to his dismay, Bengt-Åke Sundling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 58th match minute, Herrljunga RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Herrljunga RK's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Hermansson came free, but Edward Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Bror Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herrljunga RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Hedström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Åkerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Östen Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Lundgren having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Edward Lundgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 73rd minute, Bror Hedström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to GIF Sundsvall getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Emanuel Apelqvist hit a great ball. Edward Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Böcklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Böcklund in the 80th minute of the match. Östen Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Lundgren having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Herrljunga RK's goalkeeper Edward Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Utter. In the 89th minute Bror Hedström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Bengt-Åke Sundling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GIF Sundsvall's Gösta Åkerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Herrljunga RK's Edward Lundgren got control of the ball when Roger Wennerquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. GIF Sundsvall's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
