Leonard Anselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Bergkvist in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Bo Nyström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bo Nyström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Håkan Säf made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Ingvar Ljungberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Näshulta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ösmo the free kick. Näshulta's Håkan Säf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Näshulta from getting a goal against them. Leonard Anselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Leif Bergkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Fågel scored 1-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Säf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Ingvar Ljungberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Leonard Anselius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 74 minutes into the game, Näshulta's Ingvar Ljungberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Anselius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Leif Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Näshulta's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Anselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Anselius made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Elliott Ljungberg sent off a good shot on target. Felix Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Säf having to interfere. Håkan Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Uggla in the 94th minute of play. Elliott Ljungberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonard Anselius firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Näshulta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
