The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frans Söderkvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Jens Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Möja FF's Carlos Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Holmgren in the 13th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Holmsund BF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Myr came free, but Jens-Ove Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Holmgren in the 25th minute of play forced Möja FF's goalkeeper Carlos Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Nord took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Esteves. Carlos Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jens Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmsund BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens Holmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens Holmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 36 played minutes Möja FF got a freekick which was hit by Frans Söderkvist. Rune Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Esteves having to interfere. Möja FF's Carlos Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Holmgren in the 40th minute of play. Tomas Myr hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Nord to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rune Nord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carlos Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Esteves was a little too slow when Jens Holmgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 71st match minute, Holmsund BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Nord in the 77th minute of play forced Möja FF's goalkeeper Carlos Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Omar Maju mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Möja FF and the Holmsund BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henry Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
