Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elliott Tidén started the match with the kick off. Anton Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Wahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 8 minutes, Josef Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Maximino Euloxu made a precise shot to the right of Anton Carlsson. Hovshaga AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Maximino Euloxu hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, IFK Göteborg's Karl-Åke Wahlström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Carlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 25th minute, Karl-Åke Wahlström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 27th minute, Elliott Tidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Euloxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Euloxu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Anton Carlsson came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Göteborg's Pastor Gaufred. But to his dismay, Pastor Gaufred quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Tobias Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Snäll having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Euloxu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Pastor Gaufred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In a very dangerous position, a player in IFK Göteborg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Hovshaga AIF. Henric Stenberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kurt Snäll. 1-5. Anton Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Wahlström in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Hovshaga AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Wahlström came free, but Anton Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Carlsson came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Göteborg's Maximino Euloxu. But to his dismay, Maximino Euloxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 77 minutes into the match, Hovshaga AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Wahlström came free, but Anton Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wictor Nyberg during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Karl-Åke Wahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Wahlström in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Olof Skoog notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Hovshaga AIF's Anton Carlsson. Anton Carlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anton Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Euloxu in the 95th minute of play. Hovshaga AIF's Elliott Tidén got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched IFK Göteborg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
