Manchester Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Ivarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konrad Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkan Granberg to make the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Fotö's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Ivarsson came free, but Konrad Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verner Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ronny Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Håkan Granberg came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fotö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Granberg couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Manchester Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Deckbergh to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Fotö failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
