Karl-Axel Asserlind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Stu Leyburn made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Örjan Finnman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rottne IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Örjan Finnman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stu Leyburn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Örjan Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stu Leyburn having to interfere. Kristoffer Kjellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曲辉军 in the 27th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Sparreholm SK's Måns Linquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Kjellbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 39th match minute, Sparreholm SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Rottne IK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmantas Dulevičius came free, but Kristoffer Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Måns Linquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rottne IK's Kristoffer Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曲辉军 in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Rottne IK's goalkeeper Kristoffer Kjellbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 曲辉军. In the 57th minute, Andréas Alebom made a precise shot to the right of Kristoffer Kjellbom. Rottne IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 61 minutes of play, Sparreholm SK's 曲辉军 made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristoffer Kjellbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andréas Alebom managed to, on his own, get straight through Rottne IK's defense and in the 65th minute placed the ball to the left of Kristoffer Kjellbom. 0-6. Kristoffer Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Linquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Örjan Finnman came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Rottne IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Finnman couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Albin Lindblom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rottne IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparreholm SK the free kick. The supporters of Sparreholm SK booed when Rottne IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Lindblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rottne IK's zone, Vilmantas Dulevičius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Kjellbom came out of the goal and Vilmantas Dulevičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Måns Linquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 曲辉军 took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Kjellbom. Kristoffer Kjellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The audience was convinced that Måns Linquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristoffer Kjellbom was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute 曲辉军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Måns Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Kjellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Tunström in the 93rd minute of play. Sparreholm SK played a much better game than Rottne IK and deserved their victory. The Rottne IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
