Sparreholm SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Arne Åkesson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Måns Linquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidar Edström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Linquist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Sven-Edvin Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Kåre Ennegren made a precise shot to the right of Vidar Edström. Björkö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Björkö's goalkeeper Vidar Edström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilmantas Dulevičius. Vidar Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Ennegren in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Sparreholm SK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Georg Ekeroth hit a great ball. Sparreholm SK's Måns Linquist was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vidar Edström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Tunström in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Linquist in the 44th minute of play forced Björkö's goalkeeper Vidar Edström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Vidar Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Dulevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 64 minutes, Kåre Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björkö and the Sparreholm SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Kåre Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Måns Linquist sped through Björkö's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vidar Edström. Vilmantas Dulevičius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vidar Edström having to make a save. Sparreholm SK's Måns Linquist got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Björkö's Vidar Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Linquist in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Björkö's Åke Wallin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Åke Wallin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Björkö protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Åke Wallin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Björkö's Åke Wallin got a free kick in the 90th minute. Vidar Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Linquist in the 92nd minute of the match. Vidar Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曲辉军, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Vilmantas Dulevičius notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Björkö's Vidar Edström. Vidar Edström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
