In the 5th minute Linus Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Arenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Wilhelm Ahlberg's late challenge caught a Slottsbron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Ahlberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kusmark getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Wilhelm Ahlberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Linus Beckman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kusmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Beckman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Hägg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Slottsbron's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Arenius came free, but Joseph Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 33 minutes on the clock, Allan Landin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Slottsbron:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vilhelm Andersson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Vilhelm Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slottsbron. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Pär Kruuse got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gustaf Wennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Sandberg having to interfere. Axel Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Vilhelm Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sören Arenius was the one to do the kick off. If Pär Kruuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Wennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Sandberg having to interfere. Vilhelm Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Holger Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Sandberg having to interfere. Linus Beckman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Pär Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slottsbron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pär Kruuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilhelm Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Kruuse in the 66th minute of play. Pär Kruuse charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pär Kruuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Slottsbron getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pär Kruuse hit a great ball. Torbjörn Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. In the 74th match minute, Slottsbron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Kruuse in the 79th minute of play.
