The Wille FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Wille FC's Johnny Vennerberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Dösjebro FK's Jesper Pålsson got a free kick in the 70th minute. The long shot by Jonny Broberg in the 80th minute really tested Ted Hjortsberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Johnny Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Johnny Vennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wille FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Vennerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ted Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Damm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Johnny Vennerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Colin was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Dösjebro FK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Wille FC had won, even though Dösjebro FK had held more of the ball.
