In the 10th minute August Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joacim Deckberg struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Pontus Nyberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tranås FK. Hökerum's Pontus Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bedri Samih in the 17th minute of play. Simon Odin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Nyberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Vasil Neshkov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. After 46 minutes, Jonas Malmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tranås FK and the Hökerum players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Bedri Samih made a kick off.
