In the 10th minute, Kasper Klack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Joel Vennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilsmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Vennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kilsmo booed when Borlänge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Burman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Kilsmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Öberg to maneuver through the defense. Anton Jonsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timmy Tinglöf. Kilsmo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timmy Tinglöf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Burman's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Kilsmo's Boris Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dennis Burman fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borlänge IF's protests and gave Dennis Burman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Borlänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Burman to maneuver through the defense. Simon Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Vennerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borlänge IF's Kasper Klack got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Biörk was the one to do the kick off. Vincent Biörk succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 51st playminute. Vincent Biörk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Simon Lange made a huge save. After some careless play in the Borlänge IF defense, Vincent Biörk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Lange. The Borlänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Lange should have stopped the shot. Kasper Klack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Kasper Klack took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timmy Tinglöf. Timmy Tinglöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Kilsmo's zone, Andreas Söderqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Tinglöf came out of the goal and Andreas Söderqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Joel Vennerström made a precise shot to the right of Simon Lange. Borlänge IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Timmy Tinglöf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper Klack's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Kilsmo's Vincent Biörk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Lange made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Timmy Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Söderqvist in the 91st minute of play. Kasper Klack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Tinglöf having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Kilsmo got a freekick which was hit by Anton Lindqvist.
