Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mårten Kullgren to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Lindqvist during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vitå IFK booed when Real Njurunda! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalle Svanberg came out of the goal and Mårten Kullgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Vitå IFK booed when Real Njurunda! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vitå IFK's zone, Ronny Smitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Eriksson came out of the goal and Ronny Smitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mårten Kullgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Svanberg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Kullgren got free with Kalle Svanberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenneth Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Stålberg in the 87th minute of the match.
