The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hannes Ödman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Ove Bollström came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by the hills's Sten Albin. But to his dismay, Sten Albin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Folke Busk might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Ove Bollström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Folke Busk ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Britz came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Svea Eagles's Mats Klint. But to his dismay, Mats Klint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sten Albin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Bollström having to interfere. the hills's Sten Albin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to the hills getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mathias Jakobsson hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Bollström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Albin's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Sidney Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Bollström having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sten Albin made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Svea Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when John Vesterberg came free, but Sven-Ove Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melker Morat during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hannes Ödman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sven-Ove Bollström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sten Albin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Sten Albin made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Svea Eagles's Sven-Ove Bollström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Folke Busk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Sten Albin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Ove Bollström was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Sven-Ove Bollström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Albin's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. the hills walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
