Patrick Asklöv's late challenge caught a Långträsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With 16 minutes on the clock, Patrick Asklöv commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stoke city Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Långträsk. Per-Olof Gustafsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ulf Bergsten. 0-1. In the 22nd minute of the match Per-Olof Gustafsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulf Bergsten skillfully saved the ball. Bengt-Rune Classon kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Stoke city Fc's Ulf Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Bratt in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Långträsk's Helge Tunander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulf Bergsten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Stoke city Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Långträsk were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Anders Eriksson made the kick off in the second half. Sverker Bratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Sundling having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Stoke city Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Pontes to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Helge Tunander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulf Bergsten, 0-4. After some careless play in the Långträsk defense, Anders Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yngve Sundling. The Långträsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yngve Sundling should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Stoke city Fc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. William Bergström hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Sverker Bratt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulf Bergsten. Sverker Bratt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. A collision led to Långträsk getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Per-Olof Gustafsson hit a great ball. In the 79th match minute, Långträsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Wassenius to maneuver through the defense. Yngve Sundling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoke city Fc. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Stoke city Fc's Svante Palmkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Sundling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svante Palmkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Per-Olof Gustafsson in the 90th minute really tested Ulf Bergsten's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Stoke city Fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Långträsk's performance. The match ended with a win for Långträsk.
