Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Ove Jönsätt kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Jönsätt in the 3rd minute of play forced Lavsjön IK's goalkeeper Rudolf Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Jönsätt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Queens Park Rangers's goalkeeper Gökçe Talay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isac Magnusson. The supporters of Lavsjön IK booed when Queens Park Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Löfskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Roger Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patric Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Queens Park Rangers's Gökçe Talay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Queens Park Rangers from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Queens Park Rangers's Gökçe Talay got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Sjö tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After having played for 59 minutes, Jan-Ove Jönsätt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queens Park Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Jönsätt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magne Lönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Queens Park Rangers defense, Bengt Kilström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gökçe Talay. The Queens Park Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökçe Talay should have stopped the shot. Gökçe Talay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Grisha Manavski put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Queens Park Rangers's Grisha Manavski got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gökçe Talay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jan-Ove Jönsätt came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Queens Park Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Ove Jönsätt couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes of play, Lavsjön IK's Jan-Ove Sjö made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gökçe Talay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Queens Park Rangers's Östen Fransson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alf Åkesson in the 95 minute of the game. Sivert Wennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Lavsjön IK were the better team. Lavsjön IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
