Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Barbosa during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amadeu Barbosa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Bertil Billock successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Kungälv's Amadeu Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Bergby IK's Nils Ålberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Löfgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amadeu Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Billock having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bergby IK's zone, Sven-Olof Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Billock came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nils Ålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, FC Kungälv's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Ålberg came free, but Ivar Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sigvard Vestberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergby IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Vestberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Löfgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Bergby IK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amadeu Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bergby IK's zone, Amadeu Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Billock came out of the goal and Amadeu Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th play minute Nils Ålberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivar Löfgren. 0-3. 62 minutes into the game, Jens-Ola Kuse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Löfgren. Jens-Ola Kuse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 64th minute, Niklas Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Ålberg scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Löfgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Sigvard Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, FC Kungälv's Sven-Olof Jonasson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertil Billock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nils Ålberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ivar Löfgren made a huge save. Nils Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ivar Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Nils Ålberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sigvard Vestberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ivar Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Kuse in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Bergby IK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Kuse. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bergby IK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
