Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christopher Fredriksson in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viggo Gustavsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Tobias Isaksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Göransson. Hedenäset IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Isaksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. George Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Jonas Mossberg in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hedenäset IFK's Roger Gabrielsson. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Börge Apelqvist put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Hedenäset IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yxlan:s goal. A collision led to Yxlan getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tobias Isaksson hit a great ball. Hedenäset IFK's Bengt-Arne Törnkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bengt-Åke Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Gustav Dalkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Dalkvist in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Yxlan's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Mossberg came free, but Viggo Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hedenäset IFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yxlan's performance. The match ended with a win for Yxlan.
