The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urban Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Boström in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ankeborg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Boström came free, but Urban Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Boström made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Zebastian Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Ankeborg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Fransson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Per-Arne Klemensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Gråberg was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Hans Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Boström in the 69th minute of play forced Ankeborg IF's goalkeeper Urban Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ankeborg IF's Per-Arne Klemensson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Per-Arne Klemensson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carl Gråberg. Carl Gråberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Klemensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urban Bergström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hans Boström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. Ankeborg IF's Per-Arne Klemensson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes, Per-Arne Klemensson made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Långvikens Bastu Klubb's Carl Gråberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Urban Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Boström in the 93rd minute of the match. Hans Boström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Urban Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Långvikens Bastu Klubb left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ankeborg IF.
