Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Simon Qvalfeldt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kosta IF's Simon Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Nyström in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Baciadonne got free with Simon Qvalfeldt in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortunato Baciadonne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Simon Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Nyström in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Nyström to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Oskar Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Malmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joacim Malmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Sjö in the 57th minute of the match. Fortunato Baciadonne took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Qvalfeldt. Simon Qvalfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Erling Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Verner Lundberg charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verner Lundberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Nyström in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Sol Invictus's goalkeeper Joacim Malmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Petersson. The coaching staff of Sol Invictus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stig-Åke Lundström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Sol Invictus's Stig-Åke Lundström got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Sol Invictus's Joacim Malmgren got control of the ball when Ingmar Björklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erling Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Kosta IF booed when Sol Invictus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Grönlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvard Låsberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joacim Malmgren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kosta IF's Simon Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Nyström in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kosta IF's Verner Lundberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joacim Malmgren. That made the score 2-2 after 94 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
