Kjell Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, CF Entrade's Kevin Hylander got a free kick in the 14th minute. Valdemarsvik's Kjell Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Tolsson in the 21st minute of play. Kjell Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Björling in the 23rd minute of the match. Valdemarsvik's Karl-Johan Lund came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately Arman Josefsson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of CF Entrade booed when Valdemarsvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. CF Entrade's Kevin Hylander couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Valdemarsvik. Hans Östensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Karl-Johan Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdemarsvik's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Josefsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, CF Entrade's goalkeeper Arman Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Johan Lund. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Karl-Johan Lund made the kick off in the second half. Kjell Alström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Dahlberg in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Ola Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Hylander, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. CF Entrade's Nils-Åke Majman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kjell Alström but with some difficulty. In the 68th minute of the match Ola Magnusson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arman Josefsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Björling in the 85th minute of play forced Valdemarsvik's goalkeeper Kjell Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Jelm took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arman Josefsson. Arman Josefsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the CF Entrade players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Valdemarsvik.
