Walter Brillante started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Mellbad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dinu Mutu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, 曲烽升 took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Esbjörn Ennegren to make any attempt to save it. Walter Brillante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Esbjörn Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Bergfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Äppelbo BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Fågel to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Valdemar Engman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinu Mutu skillfully saved the ball. Karl-Åke Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Brillante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Esbjörn Ennegren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dinu Mutu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Påk, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Äppelbo BK's Dinu Mutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Mellbad in the 41st minute of play. Dinu Mutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Sjödin in the 42nd minute of the match. Dinu Mutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marko Sjödin's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Walter Brillante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Sjödin to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Vincent Sjöberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vessigebro IFK's Kasper Kuse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dinu Mutu but with some difficulty. Esbjörn Ennegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Sjögren in the 54th minute of play. Äppelbo BK were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Vessigebro IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walter Brillante took the corner. 57 minutes into the match, Äppelbo BK's Walter Brillante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Ennegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marko Sjödin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinu Mutu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Vincent Sjöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dinu Mutu made a huge save. Walter Brillante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Esbjörn Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Njurenius kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Oscar Bergfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Ennegren having to interfere. Karl-Åke Sjögren took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Ennegren. Esbjörn Ennegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vessigebro IFK's zone, Walter Brillante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Ennegren came out of the goal and Walter Brillante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Sjödin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Mutu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Hjortsberg in the 87th minute of play forced Äppelbo BK's goalkeeper Dinu Mutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Marko Sjödin made a precise shot to the right of Dinu Mutu. Äppelbo BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Äppelbo BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
