In the 4thth minute of the game Andreas Hybbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fatboy billy's Kent Lindsten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Rydboholm's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Kock came free, but Pål Ekgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. fatboy billy's Kent Lindsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Hybbert in the 10th minute of play. Tim Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ekgren having to interfere. Pål Ekgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rutger Örtendal in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Andreas Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Lindsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Folke Holmgren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and fatboy billy's Kent Lindsten didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Hybbert in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Lindsten saved fatboy billy from getting behind. After 36 minutes of play, Rydboholm's Andreas Hybbert made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kent Lindsten was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, fatboy billy's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Wennerström came free, but Kent Lindsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute, Albert Wennerström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rydboholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rydboholm made a substitution. Torgny Linqvist replaced Folke Holmgren. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Hybbert made a kick off. Kent Lindsten made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Andreas Hybbert sent off a good shot on target. Tim Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ekgren having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Herbert Möller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fatboy billy and the Rydboholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to fatboy billy getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Herbert Möller hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rydboholm's Stig Aronsson got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Rutger Örtendal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Ekgren was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rutger Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. fatboy billy's supporters rose to their feet, but Rutger Örtendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Ekgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Sundén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Kent Lindsten made a huge save. Kent Lindsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Wennerström in the 89th minute of play. Tim Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ekgren having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Rydboholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Linqvist to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, fatboy billy's Tim Kielstedt got a free kick in the 100th minute. When the match was over Rydboholm could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than fatboy billy throughout the match.
